Highland Hills Kitchen
This 1960’s house was in desperate need of a new kitchen. The homeowners biggest ambition was to remove the walls separating the kitchen from the living and dining rooms. A post supporting two beams were installed in place of the two walls in order to open up the space. Dove white cabinets keep the kitchen light and bright and deep colors in the granite counters along with the cherry wood island and post wrap contrast nicely. A subdued 18″ porcelain tile floor laid in a diamond pattern along with the 3×6 porcelain subway tile backsplash help blend the lights and darks together.
