An early 80’s kitchen is ready for a total make over in this Charbonneau neighborhood. The kitchen was completely gutted to the studs and new electrical and plumbing was installed as well as structural work completed with a new beam put in to open the space between kitchen and nook. The home owners chose a pallet of rich colors that worked well with the new found natural light penetrating the kitchen. Cherry cabinets sit on a bamboo hardwood floor and are capped with granite counters and a granite under mount sink. A built in sub zero fridge, ice maker, dishwasher, double wall oven and gas cook top and hood accent the kitchen space. Travertine backsplash tile in a brick pattern with metal accent pieces tie it all together. Lastly the under cabinet lights and beautiful pendants over the peninsula help bring the space to life.
